By accessing or using Markdown Safe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

If you use Markdown Safe for a company, client, school, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and that the organization is responsible for your use.

Markdown Safe provides browser-based tools for converting common document formats into Markdown. Conversion quality depends on the source file, browser behavior, document structure, fonts, encoding, and third-party open-source libraries running in the browser.

Markdown Safe does not promise that output will be complete, accurate, secure for your purpose, legally compliant, accessible, or suitable for production use without review.

You are solely responsible for the files you select, the rights you have to process them, the sensitivity of their contents, the security of your device and browser, and every decision you make using converted output.

You must review converted Markdown before relying on it. You are responsible for detecting missing text, incorrect formatting, broken links, table errors, OCR limitations, conversion artifacts, or any other issue.

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, contracts, confidentiality duties, employment policies, data-protection rules, export restrictions, and intellectual-property obligations.

You may not use Markdown Safe to violate law, infringe rights, bypass access controls, process files you are not allowed to process, distribute harmful content, misrepresent converted output, or interfere with the site.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer hosted code beyond what applicable law allows, overload the site, attack the service, probe private infrastructure, or use automation in a way that degrades service for others.

Do not rely on Markdown Safe as the only review step for legal, medical, financial, tax, compliance, safety, employment, immigration, insurance, academic, evidentiary, or other high-stakes documents.

If a mistake could cause harm, you must use qualified human review and independent verification before using, filing, publishing, submitting, or sharing the converted output.

Markdown Safe does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, security, compliance, or professional advice. Any examples, labels, explanations, or generated Markdown are informational only.

Markdown Safe is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, vulnerability-free, compatible with every browser or file, or that every document will convert correctly.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markdown Safe and its owners, operators, contributors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages.

This includes damages related to lost data, incorrect conversion, missed deadlines, publication mistakes, confidentiality breaches caused by your device or sharing choices, business interruption, or reliance on converted output.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Markdown Safe and its owners, operators, contributors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your files, your output, your breach of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue Markdown Safe or these terms at any time. The latest posted terms control your use after they are posted.

We may block or limit access if we believe use is abusive, unlawful, risky, or harmful to the service or others.
